Sustainability Drives New Resale Shop
A new upscale resale shop has opened in La Mision, Baja California. Aptly named Sustainable Style, the shop dedicates its purpose to fund animal welfare projects by gathering an awareness to the shift toward sustainability so important to the future of our planet. The shop accepts gently used items as donations for resale. Upscale fashion, jewelry and home decor fill their ever changing inventory. And most importantly, they don't forget your pets! Treats, leashes and gourmet pet food are always available as a bring home surprise for your furry friend. An exciting line of uniquely designed T shirts for both men and women display on the wall. This shop is the answer to both growing awareness to the need for a sustainable economy as well as providing funding for animal welfare.
Repurpose, Refashion, Upcycle
Sustainability is a broad term that encompasses the shift to a more ethical and responsible economy. Reusing found materials becomes part of this responsible economic vision. Art and artists play a big part in the formation of this future vision. Sustainable Style features local fashion designers and upcycle artists to support this hopeful pursuit for sustainability. Not only will you find gently used home, fashion and jewelry but also upcycled and refashioned furniture and fashion.
Local Artists Promote Upcycle To Help Animals
Sustainable Style promotes local artists. The impressive art of Vincent J. Wray & The Bunnybomb Factory displays on the walls and is for sale to support animal work. Vince is a East London borne artist with a studio in the Valle de Guadalupe. Vince works with wood, metal, and plastic, breathing new life into materials that are discarded from the agricultural and rural fields in the Valle. He's had two solo shows at CEART Ensenada, the state run gallery.
Sliptique, an upcycle line of revamped vintage lingerie, apparel and accessories, creates a bright presentation of upcycled vintage items for you to shop. The Remix Vintage Fashion, an online vintage store, and its label Sliptique follows the principled belief in repurpose and recycle. Due to years of fast fashion, excess product harms our environment. By utilizing existing material, their designs curb harmful fashion overproduction. Through collaboration with local artisans and seamstresses, they produce classy vintage styles like 50s overskirts and swing coats. A part of the proceeds supports animal efforts.
Sustainability Supports All Life on the Planet
Sustainable Style invites you to join their community of artists, environmentalists and animal advocates to shift our economy to one that sustains all life including its animals. Consider a shopping trip to Sustainable Style. Your purchases support animals in need.
