Fosters “Save Lives”

Just for $10 a Month You Can Change a Life

We want and NEED to save more dogs, but can’t without your help. We are open to any type of fosters for puppies, small, medium, and large dogs to friendly homes. Fostering just means opening your home to a temporary pet, we cover expenses and you provide the love, set boundaries, and keep us updated. Our dogs usually get adopted at 4 to 6 months of age.

Sometimes a foster is needed for that duration if our pups are compromised and need TLC. Sometimes a foster could be a 1 to 2-week commitment, just to get them from the shelter and ready for the next adoption event. You may be asked to take the dog to the Vet for shots, or other types of medical-related issues, should they arise, or to one of our Spay & Neuter Clinics.

WE CANNOT PROMISE YOU WILL GET THE PERFECT DOG, house trained or dog friendly to others, and you may get one that is very shy and needs special handling. It is all about you and what you are up for and what fits your lifestyle. With that said, we are here to support you and you will find it is a lot easier than you might imagine. Most of our dogs are just so happy to be in a loving home with lots of human love. Take it from some of our current foster success stories. Talk to your family and make sure everyone is on board before applying and if you have any questions please contact:  Debbie Head 619.315.1420 San Diego, CA

Fosters are so important to the adoption process. They are sometimes the first hand of kindness that many of these abandoned and homeless dogs know.

Here is what a foster says about the experience.

Fostering is actually very satisfying experience. You are helping a helpless animal, large or small, in preparation for finding a forever home. You are giving them a chance to have love in their life. Everyone, I would ask that if you haven’t, please give it some serious consideration, you won’t regret it. Ron Doyle
